Vegetable Pizza

Pre-made biscuit dough is the secret here, a new texture and a quicker way to make dinner or a snack.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 16.3 oz can biscuits
  • 1/2 cup pizza or spaghetti sauce
  • 1 2.4 oz can black olives
  • 1/2 cup purple onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, sliced

Method

Separate each biscuit into two or three layers. Pat them out and spread evenly over a lightly greased 12 inch pizza pan or cookie sheet. Bake in a 375 degree oven about 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and cover with sauce. Spread half of the cheese evenly over the sauce and add vegetables. Sprinkle on remaining cheese and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese melts.

 

Notes:

 

Number of Servings: For a cookie sheet, at least 8 square slices
